1. Booking And Payments

The Travel Book supports safe online payments for all of the products and services that are ordered. TheTravelBook does not keep any database or any other type of information backup system with any customer’s credit/debit or other payment card information. When you’re ready to make a transaction, you’re taken straight to the bank’s website. The card information is entered on the bank’s website rather than in Holidays. TheTravelBook doesn’t take responsiblity , in case of any misuse of credit card or fraud committed by anyone.All products and services you buy on our website are distributed and provided by third parties, and TheTravelBook acts as an agent. On this website, you can make reservations for or purchases of goods and services. By accepting the products and services offered on this website (the “contract”) by third party suppliers, retailers, and/or distributors, as well as.

The Travel Book where applicable, you are entering into a contract for the sale and purchase of goods and services. You hereby waive any rights you may have to challenge the legal implications or enforceability of any contracts entered into on this website on the grounds that they were made in electronic form rather than paper and/or signed or sworn.Please be aware that by expressing your willingness to purchase any good or service made available on the website, you agree to carry out the transactions. It’s against the law to indicate your intent to buy goods and services when you don’t actually plan to carry it through. You are not allowed to buy or possess any items or services that are subject to any applicable Indian or local laws. You alone are solely in charge of making sure that all applicable laws are followed. The Travel Book reserves the right to cancel or hold the said service until the appropriate verification is provided in the event that any user trying to book a ticket, hotel, or any other online service using a credit, debit, or gift card that is not directly in the name of the person utilizing these services. If you are making a reservation using someone else’s credit/debit/gift card, please send a copy of the card used, a photo ID of the person in whose name the card is issued, the person in whose name the services are being provided, and a letter of authorization from the card’s owner to the following email address: support@thetravelbook.co.in.
Thetravelbook.co.in retains the right to classify such transactions as fraudulent and to revoke or suspend the service in the event that any of the strict sense are not met. Additionally, it has the authority to deduct any necessary cancellation fees before returning any money.

  • Prices

The prices you see while making the booking may not be final until the full payment for the product or service is made at the end of the booking process, and all prices displayed for the products and services on https://thetravelbook.co.in/ are subject to change without prior information or notice.

Prices on thetravelbook.co.in may include booking fees, hotel taxes, airport taxes, port taxes, or any other applicable government taxes (GST and VAT), among other things, or they may be excluded of these fees. Any product or service’s availability is subject to change at any moment, even after a reservation has been made. Depending on the type of hotel room, flight booking class, cruise cabin, etc., that is available, this can result in pricing variations.at that specific point. Customer shall be legally obligated to pay any taxes,  duty, or other assessment imposed by any agency of the government with respect to the transaction entered into with Customer, and such assessment shall be recoverable from Customer even after Customer has availed Travel Services.

2. Amendment To Booking & Purchase

Before making a booking or purchase, kindly review and take note of the terms and conditions for amendments, which may vary for each product and service. You cannot modify an online reservation or purchase if there are no terms and conditions referencing the revised policy. Please give our customer service staff a call to learn about our amendment policy and to make the necessary changes.

Cancellation & Refunds

  • Each product or service has a different cancellation policy and procedure for reservations. View the terms and conditions of each product or service before making a reservation so that you are aware of the cancellation and refund policies. The purchased item or service can be returned online at https://thetravelbook.co.in. If you have trouble canceling,By contacting our customer service team, you can have the same canceled. Your request for cancellation may need to go through a minimum processing period, depending on the terms and restrictions that apply to the particular type of booked and paid-for product or service.
  • There may be a full cancellation penalty on the products or services booked and purchased, which are non-utilized or canceled after the cancellation deadline mentioned in the terms and conditions while making the purchase.For any products or services that you book but do not use for any reason, you agree to pay the full amount of any booking, cancellation, and administration costs. The travel book  occasionally imposes cancellation or amendment fees in addition to any costs levied by the travel service providers.
  • The travel book holds the right to reject any reservation or purchase for any reason, and will not be held responsible for any subsequent claims for losses, damages, or compensation. If this occurs, Thetravelbook will return to you all unused funds paid by you for that purchase.
  • When you cancel reservations and purchases that you have already booked and paid for, refunds will be sent (based on the refund policy, mentioned in terms and conditions, while making the booking or at the time of purchase). The amount may take up to 45 working days to be credited to your account for an airline ticket, and up to 15 working days for a hotel reservation. Each product and service may have a different refund policy.
  1. Less than 7 days before check in Total amount will be forfeited and no refund shall be given.
  2. No show Total amount will be forfeited and no refund shall be given.
  3. No refunds shall be given in case of any cancellations due to natural calamities.
  4. Date of booking to 30 days before check in the cancellation charges will be 25% of the package cost.
  5. 30 to 15 days before check in the cancellation charges will be 50% of the package cost.
  6. 15 to 7 days before check in the cancellation charges will be 75% of the package cost.

Cancellation Policy is subject to change. It’s purely depends upon the cancellation policy of respective hotels. In Peaks seasons, Some hotels may charge 100% cancellation.

3. Duplicate Bookings

You acknowledge that making several identical reservations for the same traveler(s) is not permitted and may result in loss and damage to the travel book, both of which you undertake to fully bear.

4. Products & Services

The product and service descriptions on this website are for general informational purposes only; not all items and services are offered in every state or nation. By using contact us or sending query links on our website, you can send us a message. We’ll respond with information on the terms and conditions, exclusions, and goods and services that apply to you. Please be aware of the goods and services that can be ordered and booked on the website.

5. Hotels

Please read the fact sheet with the terms and conditions carefully before making a hotel reservation on the website to make sure the facilities offered by the hotel or its category meet your needs. The travel book  updates the fact sheets with the hotel’s terms and conditions frequently, however, we rely on the hotels to send us the most recent data. In most cases, hotels renovate themselves at their entire discretion without necessarily informing us. In the event of a disagreement, The travel book will not be held responsible for any information disruption.

6. Airlines

Low cost and full service airlines are also available for booking. Low-cost flights don’t always offer all the facilities on board, so pick your airline wisely and be sure to read the terms and conditions and cancellation policy before buying any tickets. You will be sent both paper tickets and electronic tickets, both of which are accepted by the airlines for travel. You must carry and present your original identity photo card at the airport check-in desk if you have an e-ticket. Thetravelbook is merely a middleman and disclaims all liability for any delays, route changes, or airline cancellations for whatever cause.

7. Sightseeing Tours

Private and seat-in-coach (SIC) sightseeing trips are both options. There may be a wait period at the airport or hotels for seat-in-coach trips or transfers. Due to the fixed timings of seat in coach excursions, you are not permitted to stop at any sites that are of personal interest to you but are not included in the itinerary. You must choose based on your needs and financial situation. Unless otherwise noted, admission fees to monuments or other points of interest are not included in sightseeing trips

8. Holidays

Before making any holiday package purchases, please read the terms and conditions, including the inclusions, package schedule, and other information. If the package doesn’t meet your demands or doesn’t meet your requirements, we may also tailor it for you. Please fill out the website’s send enquiry form with all the necessary information, including the hotel category, number of nights, number of passengers, desired destinations, etc., and a member of our customer service staff will contact you with a quote

9. Car Rental (Self Drive Or Chauffeur Drive)

Before making any purchases of this service, please read the terms and conditions. TheTravelBook disclaims all liability for vehicle breakdowns, subpar vehicle quality, delays brought on by bad traffic, fines incurred for exceeding the posted speed limit by the driver or you, etc

10. Travel Insurance

For all travellers, whether they are going abroad or domestically, TheTravelBook strongly advises getting insurance coverage. On the website, travellers can buy travel insurance. Please take the time to study the insurance provider’s terms and conditions before accepting the policy. TheTravelBook disclaims all duty and obligation for any claims or disputes that are referenced by the insurance company.

11. Delivery Of Products & Services

  • Hotels

When a hotel reservation is made and booked through the website, it provides an immediate confirmation after the money is made in full, and you will receive the hotel confirmation voucher in the e-mail address you provided. The voucher includes information about the hotel’s address, phone number, confirmation number, meal plan, payment information, supplier information, and other pertinent and crucial details. At the check-in desk, present the voucher to the hotel.

  • Airlines E-Tickets

        Instead of paper tickets, travellers now receive electronic tickets called e-tickets that have a special confirmation number. To obtain the boarding permit, passengers must provide the printout with their specific confirmation number at the airline check-in counter. How can I get an e-ticket? Your e-ticket information will be mailed to you at the email address you provided when making the purchase once the full payment has been made online using your credit/debit or other payment card. .

In case if you don’t have an email address, the details will be given to you over the phone or you can come to pick up your e-ticket from our office or directly from the airline’s counter at the airport by giving them the unique confirmation number – PNR

  • Sightseeing Tours

When you book and pay for a sightseeing trip online, an immediate confirmation voucher is given, and you’ll have it in your specified e-mail address as the payment is finished. The voucher includes information on the pick-up time, location, and date of the sightseeing trip, as well as supplier and payment information and other pertinent and crucial details. Private and seat-in-coach (SIC) sightseeing trips are both options. At the airport or hotels, there can be a wait for seats on coach trips or transfers.

  • Paper Tickets  

Some airlines continue to provide paper tickets. After making the final online payment, you will immediately receive the booking confirmation number. To the delivery address specified at the time of purchase, all paper tickets will be sent. The paper ticket must be delivered to your address within 3 working days of the purchase date. If the customer is not at the delivery address when the package is delivered, TheTravelBook will not be held accountable.

  • Holidays

Holiday packages require a minimum of 24 hours for confirmation. After you make a payment on the website, a member of our customer care team will contact you and mail you the confirmation vouchers and the daily schedule to the email address you provided at the time of purchase. If you didn’t provide an email address, the vouchers will be delivered to your address within 3 working days at no additional cost. If the customer is not at the delivery address when it is made, TheTravelBooki will not be obligated.

  • Rail And Cruises

When a rail or cruise reservation is made and purchased through the website, it provides an immediate confirmation when the payment is done in full, and you will receive the rail confirmation ticket or cruise voucher in the email address you provided at the time of making the reservation. If you don’t have an email address, you can call our customer service team and arrange to pick up the item from our office or, for an extra fee, have it delivered to your door.

  • Car Rental (Self Drive Or Chauffeur Drive)

It takes minimum 4-5 hours for the car rental confirmation. Once the payment is made online, our customer care team will get in touch with you and give you the confirmation details over the phone and will also email you the confirmation voucher.

  • Travel Insurance

 An immediate travel insurance policy will be issued and mailed to you at the email address you provided at the time of purchase. If you don’t have an email address, you can receive the information from our customer service staff and have it delivered to your door for an extra fee or picked up from our office.

The Travel Book shall not be liable for the deficiency, defect, or delay in the delivery of products and services, caused by events of Force Majeure.

 

12. CHECK

An “Event of Force Majeure” is an occurrence that is out of the Authority’s and Operator’s control and prohibits a Party from performing its duties under this Contract, including but not limited to:

  • an act of God, including but not limited to floods, tidal waves, earthquakes, fires, explosions, and earthquakes;
  • hostilities, whether or not a declaration of war is made, invasion, an act of aggression by a foreign power, mobilisation, requisition, or embargo;
  • uprising, revolt, military coup, usurpation of power, or civil war;
  • contaminating any explosive nuclear assembly or nuclear component of such an assembly with radioactivity from any nuclear fuel, radioactive waste from the burning of nuclear fuel, radioactive poisonous explosive, or other dangerous qualities;
  • a riot, uproar, strike, slowdown, lockout, or other form of unrest; or
  • Terrorist activities or threats

13. Terms & Conditions For Product & Services

In addition to the terms and conditions listed separately for each product and service, some of the products and services have additional governing terms and conditions that must be agreed to. It is crucial that you carefully study the information you acquire about these particular items and services since it may include exclusions, liability limitations, and other terms and conditions, such as limitations on amendment or cancellation. 15. Passport, Visa & Health Requirement

Foreign nationals entering the country require a passport that is valid for at least six months, which is a requirement for the majority of nations. Each country has its own requirements for visas and medical care. An individual tourist is solely responsible for making sure that the country’s embassy or consulate they are visiting receives all necessary papers, including medical needs. TheTravelBook assumes no liability for any refusals or declines of the visa issuance for any reason.

Any booking or transaction may be rejected by TheTravelBook at any time for any reason, and TheTravelBook will not be held responsible for any subsequent claims for losses, damages, or compensation. TheTravelBook will reimburse you for all unused funds after subtracting the appropriate booking fee, administrative fee, and cancellation fee (if any) for that purchase.
